Our Doodle Journey

We are an ethical dog breeding business located in the picturesque Finger Lakes area of Upstate New York. Our focus is on breeding quality F1b Bernedoodles, which are lovingly home-raised alongside our family. Our mission is to produce well-adjusted, gentle, family-oriented, mostly hypoallergenic, and mostly non-shedding fancy Doodles that will bring joy and beauty to their forever families. Our females are F1 Doodles (50% AKC Bernese Mountain Dog / 50% AKC Poodle), bred back to an AKC Poodle, producing F1b Bernedoodle puppies (25% Bernese Mountain Dog / 75% Poodle). By doing this we are ensuring the most hypoallergenic, non-shedding Doodle possible, while maintaining the best qualities of both breeds and producing a helalthier dog.

We have always loved dogs and have had Labrador Retrievers all our lives. However, when one of our sons showed allergies to dogs we had to rethink our dog companions. A few years ago we fell in love with doodles after seeing several during a camping trip to the Adirondacks. I have always loved the gentle and calm demeaner of the Bernese Mountain Dog but didin't figure we could ever have one due to the shedding and allergies. We started researching Bernedoodles and loved what we were learning. We purchased our female in 2022 with the hope that we could start raising puppies that others with allergies could enjoy. Our premiere litter was born 12/12/24 and Frith Falls Fancy Doodles was established. The Old English meaning of Frith is peace, protection, safety, security, freedom and refuge. Our aim is for these puppies to provide that for their families and visa versa.
